Lighthouse Tiny Homes was founded by David and Helen Harris, a dynamic couple with a deep passion for creating positive change and empowering those facing housing challenges. Their journey began with several years of volunteering at the Bendigo Winter Night Shelter, where they witnessed the immediate relief provided by such programs. However, they wanted to go beyond temporary solutions and help individuals find lasting and life-giving housing options.
David and Helen's commitment to their community extends beyond Lighthouse Tiny Homes. They started their married life in Bendigo, running their own business for eight years. In 2004, they planted a church and served as senior pastors for 18 years, gaining valuable experience in supporting and empowering individuals.
David and Helen have a strong motivation to empower people to achieve housing stability and a brighter future. They bring a wealth of experience from their years of helping people and a deep understanding of the life challenges people face
Our mission is to tackle the challenge of homelessness in Australia by leading people in securing a safe and financially viable place to call home through our innovative tiny homes and rooms. By lighting the path for those seeking a treasured place to call home, we strive to empower individuals and provide them with the means to achieve housing stability and a brighter future.
